What my strike you as odd is that just a few months ago this would have been unthinkable on his part. Yet, here he is today, crushing an outdoor workout that required bear crawls backwards for 50 yards, as well as lunges in reverse for the same distance. Again, he did this with only a few months training. Remarkable!
This goes to show if we want to change, we can no matter who we are.
